Diabetes Specialist Nurse and Education and Research Associate Vicki Alabraba, alongside Pancreatic Specialist Dietitian Laura McGeeney joined us to deliver a virtual educational session on diabetes and pancreatic cancer.

Vicki and Laura took a deep dive into type 3c diabetes discussing the potential causes, characteristics and diagnosis, how it differs from type 1 and 2, therapeutic and nutritional management, impacts on treatment options and managing these, as well as managing diabetes at the end of life.

They also discussed case studies and tips to help you as health professionals in supporting your patients.
