Volunteer Recruitment Fair

We’re holding our first Pancreatic Cancer UK Virtual Volunteer Recruitment Fair on Wednesday 23rd February. Join us and find out more about how you can get involved with volunteering at Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Why volunteer with Pancreatic Cancer UK?

Volunteering is a great way to support a cause you’re passionate about – pancreatic cancer, meet new people and try something different! At Pancreatic Cancer UK, we have a great range of volunteer opportunities, including raising awareness for pancreatic cancer and our work in your local area, campaigning, taking part in events. You can have your say in our research and get involved in our annual Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month activities in November.

You can commit to as little as many hours you can spare, depending on your availability and interests. If you are passionate about transforming the lives of people with pancreatic cancer, then get in touch.

What can you expect as a Pancreatic Cancer UK volunteer?

You’ll be joining our wonderful community of volunteers and will be supported throughout your time with us. You’ll receive a full induction, training, and other resources to enable you to undertake your volunteering, such as information materials, t-shirts, and other tools.

Your volunteer supervisor will be on hand to support you with your volunteering, answer any questions you might have, and check in with you to make sure you are supported throughout.

What Pancreatic Cancer UK volunteers say

“I feel a huge amount of pride when I am volunteering that I am helping other people and helping to raise awareness of this disease. If by raising even the smallest amount of money I can help to change the lives of people who may get this pancreatic cancer in the future, I feel it is so worthwhile. I would thoroughly recommend becoming a Local Volunteer. You will receive a huge amount of support from the team at Pancreatic Cancer UK and be welcomed into a team who are all striving for the same goals.”

Sarah – Local Volunteer

“I volunteer because I want people to be aware of the symptoms and the need for early diagnosis.  The support I get from the Pancreatic Cancer UK team is brilliant. Through volunteering, I get to meet people, which helps me as I live alone. I would recommend becoming a local volunteer to anyone for the satisfaction you get from knowing you are helping.”
