Managing Chemotherapy

If you’re having chemotherapy, or supporting someone who is, you may benefit from attending a Managing Chemotherapy online support session run by one of our specialist nurses.

  • Meet other people receiving treatment
  • Share your experiences and get support
  • Get advice about managing side effects including nausea and fatigue

Who is this session for?

This session is for people who are currently receiving chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer, or have a plan for starting chemotherapy within the next few weeks, and their loved ones.

If you aren’t sure whether chemotherapy is an option for you, you may benefit from our Newly Diagnosed session. You can also contact the Support Line to speak to one of our specialist nurses.

If you’re a healthcare professional, please check out our dedicated support for you.

Can I come to more than one?

Each Managing Chemotherapy session will cover the same content, but you’re welcome to come to as many as you’d find helpful.

Upcoming dates

People who joined us have said:

“I would absolutely encourage others to join as it is so reassuring to see others with the same issues and hear their stories.– Anonymous attendee

“Join an event and listen to the guidance and advice from professionals and other patients. The Zoom meetings do provide invaluable help and assistance in coping and managing living with pancreatic cancer. You don’t have to say anything or switch on your video!” – Anonymous attendee

Glad I joined the sessions as I met like minded people and didn't feel alone.
