Read our information about treatment options if you can't have surgery
Here you’ll find information about various treatment options, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy and clinical trials.
If you have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that can’t be cured with surgery, you may be offered different types of treatment. But what are these treatments and how can you prepare for them? Whether you’ve been diagnosed yourself, or are supporting a loved one, we’re here to offer information and support that’s clear and easy to understand.
Join our session to hear from some of our specialist nurses, Simon and Lea, who will talk about what chemotherapy and radiotherapy are, and how they are used to treat pancreatic cancer. You’ll come away with practical tips on how to stay as well as possible before, during, and after treatment.
Simon and Lea will also explore how treatment decisions are made and share tips to help you prepare for conversations with your health professional team. This includes conversations to help you decide together what treatment plan is right for you.
We’ll cover where you can find further support and information you can trust, including talking about AI. You’ll also have the chance to ask Simon and Lea your own questions too.
