Join us this July for our fifth annual education event on pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT) and pancreatic cancer. We’re excited to welcome back senior specialist HPB dietitian, Mary Phillips, to lead this session.

Mary will explain what pancreatic exocrine insufficiency (PEI) is, the symptoms, causes and consequences. She’ll then discuss how to treat PEI using PERT including how to use it effectively and troubleshooting ongoing issues. You will leave the session with the knowledge and understanding to confidently advise your patients on its effective use.

The theory will be brought to life with case studies, and we will hear from people affected by pancreatic cancer on their experience of taking PERT and the impact it has had on their quality of life.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions, and Mary will also provide a short update on the latest PERT shortage guidance.
