Will you bring more than hope to people affected by pancreatic cancer this Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month?

In our 20th anniversary year, what better moment for you to help us bring more than hope to people affected by pancreatic cancer than during November’s Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.

For too long, pancreatic cancer has been overlooked, underfunded and left behind. In the UK, the disease receives just 3% of the total research budget. As a result, it’s difficult to diagnose and treat. Families are often left with only hope to hold onto.

But since 2006, we have worked tirelessly to change this. And we have seen great progress. We’ll be sharing more about this soon. Our challenge is to make sure this progress not only persists but accelerates. We need the world to give this disease the attention – and, above all, the action – it demands.

That’s why we really need your support this November.

So, what are you waiting for, it’s time to start planning!

Fundraising

Research will transform survival for pancreatic cancer and by getting involved you’ll help accelerate progress. Your fundraising makes this possible – driving forward much needed progress for pancreatic cancer.

There are so many ways for you to get involved. Whether it’s something social or sporty, in the office or bringing together your friends and family, we’re here to support you with putting your plans into action.

Perhaps you fancy taking to the skies to experience the thrill of a skydive or why not join our November virtual event?

I’m ready to fundraise

Raising awareness

We make a noise because people have gone unheard. Together, we can raise awareness of the disease and the signs and symptoms, so that people can get a crucial diagnosis, sooner. Your support helps us transform the future for people with pancreatic cancer and enables us to be there for those who are affected today. Because people with pancreatic cancer deserve more than hope.

We have printed symptoms materials ready for you to order now, and why not check out our digital resources? There will be lots more opportunities to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer coming soon.

Purple Lights for pancreatic cancer

Put a spotlight on the disease by lighting up your home or a landmark purple on World Pancreatic Cancer Day – held this year on Thursday 19th November.

Whether you or someone close to you has been personally affected, taking part in Purple Lights for pancreatic cancer is a touching way to pay tribute to them as well as raising much needed awareness of the disease. View our gallery from last year for inspiration and our FAQs to find out how to get started.
