During Remember A Charity Week 2018, we answered some very tough questions from our supporters about pancreatic cancer.

Listen to Professor Stephen Smith, Chair of Pancreatic Cancer UK’s Scientific Advisory Board answering ‘How can we cure the deadliest common cancer?’

How Caroline is helping

“My mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer back in 2009 and she died just 3 weeks later, devastating our family.

I feel very privileged to work at Pancreatic Cancer UK and to see first-hand the impact of gifts in Wills and how the charity uses legacies to invest in world class research to achieve the maximum impact.

I’m so incredibly proud of the work we are doing at Pancreatic Cancer UK to change the future for all those affected by pancreatic cancer but so much more needs to be done and we can’t do it alone.

Some time ago I made the decision to leave a gift in my own Will to Pancreatic Cancer UK.

I want to play a small part in changing the future. For my mum, for my family, for everyone affected.”

Caroline Purewal, Fundraising Finance Manager.
