Park Cliffe Caravan Park chose Pancreatic Cancer UK as their Charity of the Year in 2016. We are delighted to have been chosen and really enjoyed working with them and their team.
Park Cliffe is a five star caravan and camping estate in the Lake District. Each season they raise money for a different charity. In 2016 they have chosen to support Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of the site owner’s father, Frank Holgate, who died of the disease in January 2015 at the age of 74.
Frank's daughter Susan Dickson said, "We have chosen to support Pancreatic Cancer UK to raise awareness of the disease and help fund research which may in time mean other loved ones can have an early diagnosis and a fighting chance of beating this cancer".
Park Cliffe donated £3,000 which they raised through quiz nights, a duck race, music nights and other events.
