Don’t Write Me Off in Westminster

Over eighty Parliamentarians dropped into our event

Pancreatic cancer has been left behind by successive governments. Survival rates are among the worst in Europe, and the world. Through our Don’t Write Me Off campaign we’re telling governments across the UK to fund a faster, fairer treatment and care journey for everyone with pancreatic cancer.

We took our campaign to Westminster

Our fantastic supporters spoke to 84 parliamentarians or their staff members at our event in January about how they can drive forward change for people facing the deadliest cancer.

We had in depth conversations with influential MPs including Cancer Minister Andrew Stephenson MP and Karin Smyth, Shadow Minister for Health and Social Care and have followed up on every conversation.

Thank you

Thank you again to our fantastic supporters who joined our event and shared their experiences of pancreatic cancer with MPs.

Over 1,400 of you also invited your MP to attend our event, which is just incredible. Time and again, MPs told us they had joined the event because you’d asked them to – meaning that this successful event really wouldn’t have been possible without you. Thank you again!
